Congratulations to our girls' and boys' wrestling teams for an outstanding performance. Our girls' wrestling team are Back 2 Back District Champions. Congratulations Brianna Shefke for earning the 16-5A Most Outstanding Female Wrestler award. Regional qualifiers for boys: Benjamin Vergara and Diego Padilla. Good afternoon, All campuses were briefly placed in a precautionary secure lockout due to police activity in a nearby area. The situation was not connected to our schools and the secure lockout has now been lifted. All students and staff are safe and normal operations have resumed. Thank you for your understanding.

Due to severe winter weather conditions and with safety top of mind, South Texas College administration has announced it will close all campuses on Tuesday, January 21. There will be no face-to-face classes this Tuesday. In addition, STC will have a delayed opening of 10 a.m. for all students, faculty and staff for Wednesday, January 22. Stayed tuned to STC social media and local stations for weather updates. Stay warm, Jags!

Valley View ISD Administration is closely monitoring the weather conditions. Due to inclement weather, classes will be canceled on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, and there will be a delay in classes on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
