On behalf of our Board of Trustees, Administration, and Dr. Luna, we would like to thank all of our students, parents, teachers, and staff for making the 2025-2026 school year wonderful.
Please note that Valley View ISD will be closed for Summer Break from Monday, June 22, to Friday, July 10, 2026. Central Office will be back on Monday, July 13, 2026. Enjoy this break with your family and loved ones. Stay safe, and we look forward to seeing you next school year!
Attention students, Summer EOC exams for Algebra I retesters will be administered on June 17, 2026, at Valley View High School. Please make sure to arrive at campus by 7:45 AM.

REMINDERS:
Students MUST be present to test.
Students MUST arrive on time to school, 7:45 am.
Students MAY wear layered clothing. Students MAY bring a water bottle.
Students need to eat breakfast.
Students need to go to sleep early the night before.
Parents, please reschedule any appointments for days not scheduled for testing.
Parents, please DO NOT pick up students early. This allows students to have sufficient time for testing.

Valley View was awarded a grant from the Texas Workforce Commission to promote STEM careers, specifically in Nursing, Welding, Drone Applications, Robotics, and Forensic Science. In collaboration with Regione One, UTRGV, STC, Hidalgo Police Department, and Rio Health Medical Clinic, Valley View has created a multi-week summer camp to provide a rich, hands-on learning experience.

Valley View ISD’s 2026 Summer School Program will provide students with engaging learning opportunities, academic support, and enrichment activities to help them continue growing throughout the summer. Programs will be available for students from Pre-K through 12th grade at designated campuses across the district.

The students had the privilege of speaking with Judge Rose Guerra Reyna of the 206th District Court, who shared her motivation for her chosen profession. Judge Guerra Reyna expressed her belief that having confidence in yourself, education, and passion can take you as far as you wish to pursue your future endeavors.
