Valley View Practicum in Law students attended civil and criminal proceedings at the newly renovated Hidalgo County Courthouse. Our security explorers were able to observe the criminal justice system at work from pre-trial rulings to final judgments.
The students had the privilege of speaking with Judge Rose Guerra Reyna of the 206th District Court, who shared her motivation for her chosen profession. Judge Guerra Reyna expressed her belief that having confidence in yourself, education, and passion can take you as far as you wish to pursue your future endeavors.
