VVHS Class of 2025 Graduation Ceremony will be on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Payne Arena. The Graduation ceremony starts at 7:00 PM.

As we approach the end of the school year, we'd like to remind everyone that every Chromebook must be returned with a working charger. At the beginning of the school year, every Chromebook was issued with a working charger. Each charger was visually inspected and it was not frayed or torn. If upon checkin of the Chromebook, the charger is frayed / damaged or does not work, a $45 replacement cost is incurred and due upon the return of the Chromebook.

VVHS tigers, the end of the school year is right around the corner. Exciting times ahead! But first, let's talk about the school-issued Chromebooks. If your Chromebook is missing, we can do the following AFTER a "CHROMEBOOK is Lost /Missing/Stolen" report is submitted: 1. DISABLE the CHROMEBOOK (Others will not be able to log in.) 2. VERIFY the last USER. 3. VERIFY the last DATE & TIME of use. If your Chromebook is missing, it is imperative to submit the "Chromebook - Lost / Missing / Stolen" report as soon as possible. If the school-issued Chromebook is not recovered, the cost for replacement is $240. If you have any questions, please contact us at 956.340.1510.

VVHS will be administering the State EOC exams this week and next week.. Students scheduled to take these state exams, make sure to have your Chromebook charged and bring your charger.

Valley View ISD proudly held its 2nd Annual Young Women’s Empowerment Conference this week, welcoming all senior lady students from Valley View High School for a day dedicated to growth, leadership, and inspiration.
This special event was designed to celebrate and empower our future female leaders by providing them with valuable tools, guidance, and encouragement as they prepare to take on the next chapter of their lives. Throughout the day, students engaged in a variety of sessions covering important topics such as confidence-building, leadership development, career exploration, personal wellness, and more.
A highlight of the day was the luncheon held at midday, where students had the opportunity to connect with one another, reflect on the morning’s experiences, and recharge for the empowering sessions that followed in the afternoon. The setting provided a perfect moment of unity and celebration for our amazing senior ladies.
One of the most impactful aspects of the conference was the presence of our incredible presenters, who graciously volunteered their time to speak and share their stories. These passionate individuals came from a variety of professional backgrounds, each bringing a unique and valuable perspective. Whether they spoke about their career paths, life challenges, or words of wisdom, each session left a lasting impression on our students.
“We are so proud of the young women who participated,” said district leaders. “They showed such openness, enthusiasm, and strength throughout the day. This is exactly the kind of experience that builds confidence and encourages bold dreams.”
Valley View ISD extends its deepest gratitude to every presenter, staff member, and volunteer who helped make the day a success. Their commitment to empowering the next generation of women is what makes this conference such a meaningful tradition.
As our seniors prepare to graduate and take on the world, we know they’ll carry the lessons of this day with them. The future is bright, and these young women are ready to shine.
