A huge thanks goes out to Mrs. Andaverdi, our CTE Business Management and COOP students have done for decorating the CTE building. Every month, a different theme is chosen to connect to the district's Disney Valley View Kingdom theme. We started the year with Monsters Inc., and overcame fears of the unknown with the new school year, formed new friendships, and found humor in unexpected situations. For October, we used The Nightmare Before Christmas as a springboard to discuss facing our fears, embracing diversity, and focusing on the importance of understanding different perspectives. Our students used the skills they learned in class to manage the project as a team, communicate effectively with one another, and ultimately create a visual display that tied in with the theme of Halloween and facing our fears. Hats off to Mrs. Andaverdi and all the students who worked so hard to make this happen.
