T-STEM stands for Texas-Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics. There are 77 schools in the state of Texas that have applied for and have received T-STEM designation as of the 2012-2013 school year. The aim of these academies is to promote STEM education and to have our students pursue a career in these fields.
Academies follow a strict design blueprint to ensure fidelity to the mission and vision of the Texas Education Agency. Instruction is student-centered and driven by project-based learning.
